When all the world wails for healing
And all the treasures, held tightly,
Become even more worth-keeping–
When every nuance of this existence
Hangs by a fragile filligree of hope,
Then the heart shouldn’t halt wishing,
The hands must stay clasped in prayer,
And the head should remain bowed
In a perpetual supplication to God.
